Last updated 7 September 2026. Information on AdScale comes from the provider's publicly available sources, retrieved on 7 September 2026. We review this page regularly.

The short answer

AdScale is a broad e-commerce marketing suite: Google and Meta campaigns, AI creatives including video, customer segments, business intelligence, and email and SMS marketing, with plugins for Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop, BigCommerce, OpenCart and Wix. Cloudginny is the opposite of that: a Google Ads specialist for online shops selling into German-speaking markets, with no Meta, no creatives, no email or SMS, but with Merchant Center depth, German-language support and an approval model.

If you want ads, creatives, email and SMS in one system and you sit on Shopify or WooCommerce, AdScale is the right call. If you want to run Google Shopping seriously, work with JTL or Shopware and need support in German, we are the better fit.

Pricing in detail

Cloudginny charges by average monthly ad spend: Starter 149, Premium 349 and Pro 699 US dollars per month, with Enterprise from 1,200. Paying annually takes 10 percent off, there is no setup fee and no minimum ad spend, and Microsoft Advertising is available as a paid add-on. That means you know the price up front, and it only changes if your ad spend moves into a different band and stays there. The Starter plan includes AI-driven campaign creation, the Ginny agent, one-tap optimisations, in-app alerts, campaign management, a performance dashboard with CSV export, a daily performance digest by email, and email and chat support with a response time of up to 72 hours on working days.

AdScale starts at zero dollars for accounts up to 1,000 US dollars in ad spend and, above that, charges a fixed base fee plus usage-based cost billed at the end of the period, tiered by actual ad spend. On top of that sit AdScale Plus with a dedicated account manager and AdScale Pro for agencies. SMS carries additional sending costs.

Put plainly: AdScale is cheaper to start with, and for very small accounts it is free. The trade-off is that the final bill is harder to predict, because part of it is settled in arrears and SMS costs extra. If you want a fixed monthly figure, you get it from us. If you would rather only pay as you grow, AdScale.

Where AdScale is the better choice

On feature range. Meta campaigns, AI-generated ad images and video, customer segmentation, business intelligence, email and SMS: none of that exists in Cloudginny, and none of it is planned. If you want those building blocks in one system, we only cover a slice.

On shop system integration. AdScale ships ready-made plugins for seven shop systems, including a live sync between shop and ads. If you sit on Shopify or WooCommerce and expect a one-click install, that is where you will find it.

On starting out with a very small account. Up to 1,000 US dollars in ad spend, AdScale costs nothing according to its pricing page.

On creatives. If what you are missing is ad images and video, AdScale can generate them. Ginny writes text only.

Where Cloudginny is the better choice

On JTL and Shopware. AdScale lists neither. Cloudginny works feed-neutrally through the Google Merchant Center: any shop system that fills a Merchant Center feed works, with no plugin to install. For the German mid-market, which largely runs on JTL and Shopware, that is usually where the decision is already made. For how Google Shopping works as a channel and what it costs, see our guide to Google Shopping. That draws on our own analysis of Shopping and Performance Max campaigns in German-speaking markets, more than 1.8 million clicks between August 2025 and July 2026.

On Google Shopping depth. Disapproved products with the reason in the chat, a daily alert when new ones appear, twice-daily checks for disapproved ads, promotions created and ended in the Merchant Center, exclusion of entire brands and categories, and positive selection of individual products.

On control. Anything that costs money or turns on delivery is applied only after you approve it, and the lock sits in the code. Reversible safety measures run immediately and appear in the action log.

On language and legal framework. Interface, reports and support in German and English, a German company as your contracting party, a data processing agreement with logged acceptance, an external data protection officer, data processing in the EU.

On predictable cost. A fixed monthly price by spend band rather than usage billed in arrears.

Switching and getting started

With Cloudginny there is no plugin to install: you connect your Google Ads account and, for Shopping, your Merchant Center. If your feed is already running because you are advertising on Shopping today, the groundwork is done. The first analysis starts straight from the setup assistant, and your ad account stays yours. In practice that takes about two minutes up to the connection, and the first analysis then starts on its own.

Contract, cancellation and what happens afterwards

The minimum term is one month, you can cancel monthly, and the first seven days are free. If you cancel, nothing happens to your ad account: the campaigns keep running, and every optimisation Ginny proposed and you approved stays in place. There is nothing to unwind and nothing to export, because nothing ever moved into somebody else's system.

Frequently asked questions

What does AdScale cost compared with Cloudginny?

AdScale is free up to 1,000 US dollars in ad spend and, above that, charges a base fee plus a usage-based share by ad spend tier. Cloudginny costs a fixed 149, 349 or 699 US dollars per month depending on the spend band, with Enterprise from 1,200.

Does Cloudginny support JTL or Shopware?

Yes, indirectly and without a plugin: Cloudginny works from the product data in your Google Merchant Center, so any shop system that fills a Merchant Center feed works. AdScale lists Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, BigCommerce, OpenCart and Wix for its plugins; JTL and Shopware are not among them.

Does Cloudginny create ad images or video?

No. Ginny writes text: headlines, descriptions, sitelinks and assets for Performance Max. It does not generate images or video. AdScale offers AI creatives including video.

Does Cloudginny do email or SMS marketing?

No, and both are deliberately out of scope. Emails go to you as the user only, such as reports and alerts, never to your customers. AdScale offers email and SMS marketing.

Which system fits a shop focused on Google Shopping?

If the focus is Google Shopping, the shop system is JTL or Shopware and support in German matters, Cloudginny is the better fit. If Meta, creatives, email and SMS should be part of it and the shop runs on Shopify or WooCommerce, AdScale is.

ChatGPT Ads in Europe: What the Launch Means for Online Shops

On 24 August 2026 ChatGPT started showing ads across 31 European markets. For the first time a second large channel reaches people in the middle of their purchase research. At the same time there is no self-service access, no product ad format and not a single official performance number. This article sorts the facts: who sees the ads, what a click costs, why context hints are not keywords, and whether getting in now is worth it.
